1. Return Period

Customers must request a return within 14 days of receiving their order.

Return requests made after this 14-day period will not be accepted, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

2. Return Eligibility

Due to the personal-use and hygiene-sensitive nature of our products, we can only accept returns where the product is:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • Fully sealed
  • In its original packaging
  • In the exact condition it was supplied by Taniva.co.uk

Any item that has been opened, used, unsealed, damaged, tampered with, altered, or returned in any condition different from how it was provided will not be eligible for a return or refund.

This includes, but is not limited to, products with broken seals, damaged packaging, missing parts, removed labels, signs of use, or any form of handling that affects the product’s condition or resale suitability.

3. Hygiene & Safety Restrictions

For hygiene and safety reasons, nasal tanners and other personal-use tanning products cannot be returned once opened or unsealed.

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet our eligibility requirements.

4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Customers must inspect their order upon delivery.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, this must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Clear photos of the product, packaging, and any visible issue may be required so we can review the matter properly.

If approved, we may offer a replacement, refund, or another suitable resolution depending on the circumstances.

5. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items unless the product received is faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service, as Taniva.co.uk is not responsible for returns that are lost, delayed, or damaged in transit.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

6. Refunds

Once a returned item has been received and inspected, we will confirm whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 working days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If the returned item does not meet our return conditions, the refund will be refused and the item may be returned to the customer at their cost.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled before they have been processed or dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the returns process, where eligible.

8. Refused or Failed Deliveries

If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, or refusal to accept the parcel, any delivery costs or return charges may be deducted from the refund.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery details at checkout.

9. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights. Customers remain entitled to remedies where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. UK guidance confirms that online customers generally have 14 days to notify cancellation, while sealed hygiene items may be exempt from refund once opened.
